Ashton Court hills
Thanks to my nephew who helped me out to shoot this video on a trip to Ashton
Court. We walked a crooked mile to get where we were going and took our rest with
the Bristol view up on the hill from the big yellow house.
I love westerns, I first heard this song in the 2010 film "True Grit" that features a version by Iris Dement. "In The Everlasting Arms" 1887 is a hymn by Anthony J. Showalter and Elisha Hoffman.
Street Art Walking Tour
A week after Bristols Upfest 2018 street art festival in Southville I
made this video for a Scottish folk song using imagery from the fresh
artwork on the Upfest walking tour.
"Will Ye No Come Back Again" is a Scots poem written by Carolina Oliphant (Lady Nairne) in the first half of the 19th century set to a traditional Scottish folk tune. I first heard this song on Alex Campbell's 1969 album "Best Loved Songs Of Bonnie Scotland".
